LPG Mirambo Vessel

In October 2021 Taifa procured an LPG tanker vessel for LPG transportation. This vessel has been named MIRAMBO. She has an LPG carrying capacity of 7000MT. This vessel makes Tanzania to be the only country for now in Eastern and Southern Africa to own an LPG vessel. This vessel has been registered in Tanzania and flies the Tanzania flag. The objective of acquiring this vessel is to enable Taifa Gas to access international LPG markets which are traditionally accessed by only a few companies worldwide that own vessels. This will help to reduce product transport costs hence reducing consumer LPG costs and ensuring product supply reliability.
